I am a Fractional VP Marketing and I started Unicorn Rocket because I believe founders at all stages deserve the same caliber of marketing leadership that later stage companies take for granted. You shouldn’t have to wait until you can afford a full-time marketing executive to get strategic marketing right.
I’ve spent 15+ years in tech, media, and AI — about 12 of those in marketing leadership roles. I’ve been a Head of Marketing, a VP Marketing, and an operator who’s built teams, campaigns, and brands from the ground up.
A few highlights:
- Nx — As VP Marketing, I helped grow the developer platform to 100K+ users and supported the company. Now in A16z Series A.
- DarwinAI — Led marketing for the AI company through to its new product launch. Eventually it was acquired by Apple.
- Rangle.io — One of the first 10 hires, on the leadership team that scaled revenues from $1M to $20M (and 150 people) within 4 years.
- Elevate — Oversaw marketing for Elevate Festival and CIX Summit, driving 28% ticket revenue growth YOY, with budget reductions, and drove participants to eCommerce and tech startup accelerator programs.
I’ve worked across B2B product and services marketing — enterprise and SMB — in verticals from fintech to AI-design software to developer tools. Whether it’s a DevOps platform or an AI startup, I know how to build brands that resonate and campaigns that convert.
Before tech, I was a journalist. I wrote for CBC, Betakit, and a handful of arts and culture outlets. That background still shapes how I approach marketing: every company has a story worth telling — the job is finding it and making it stick.
What I Bring
Strategic thinking with executional follow-through. I’m not here to hand you a PDF and wish you luck — I’m here to build something that works, then make sure your team can run it without me.
If you’re a seed or Series A founder ready to get serious about marketing, let’s talk.
